Why work with me
There is no single “right way” to birth.
Pregnancy and birth involve many decisions, and every family brings their own values, history and desires into that process. You deserve the time, information, and support to explore your options, ask questions, and make decisions that feel right for you.
What support can look like:
-
A sounding board and trusted resource for exploring options, clarifying priorities, and preparing for any decisions that may arise
-
Access to trusted resources and referrals when additional expertise or care may be helpful
• Steady, continuous support in labour so you are not navigating the intensity and uncertainty of birth alone
• Partners who feel prepared and involved, with guidance that helps them support you with confidence
• A gentler transition into the early postpartum weeks, with practical and emotional support as you settle into life with your baby

Birth Support
I understand that birth is about more than just the outcome. The process and journey to parenthood profoundly matter. I’m deeply committed to offering compassionate, unwavering, and personalized support that honours your unique vision, values, and preferences.

Rentals
A TENS machine provides natural, drug-free pain relief during labour by using gentle electrical pulses to ease discomfort. Safe, easy to use, and suitable for both home and hospital births, it’s an effective and supportive addition to your labour toolbox

Classes
Whether you’re looking for private or group sessions,
I offer evidence-based guidance and practical tools to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you prepare for birth

Prenatal Support
Perfect for families who would like expert guidance during pregnancy without in-person birth support.
This option includes dedicated prenatal sessions where we explore your hopes for birth, review evidence-based information, practice comfort measures, and create a birth plan that reflects your preferences. You will also have space to ask questions, talk through any concerns, and feel supported as you prepare for the experience ahead. The goal is for you to approach birth feeling informed, confident, and supported.

Being able to have someone you trust so fully in your corner during one of the most important seasons of life is crucial and Kristin was that person for us. She was such a huge support for my husband as well! I couldn't have had a better experience and I highly, HIGHLY recommend getting Kristin on your birth team.
You will not regret it!!

You are truly amazing! I'm so grateful that I've had the benefit of being in your care and support. You made our experience of birth genuinely a loving, caring space.
Because of you I felt like I had a compass and sovereignty in the birth of our daughter.
You exemplified what true service looks like. I have tears in my eyes when I think of it. Your heart in all that you give and do is over and above what I could have wished for.

I really have no words on how to thank you. When people ask about our birth, I mean it when I say I know the outcome would have been different had you not been there.
We are forever grateful...

Choosing a doula is a personal decision
A free discovery call offers a chance to connect, ask questions, and explore whether this support feels like the right fit. I support a limited number of births each month so that each family receives attentive care. If you’re considering doula support, I encourage you to reach out early to check availability.
During this call we can talk about:
• Your hopes, goals, and what type of support would feel most helpful,
so we can shape a package that fits your needs
• What doula support looks like in practice
• Getting to know one another and exploring whether
it feels like a good fit for both of us
